Melody Mine is a music sequencer. It has tracks, loops and a piano roll with which you can create the patterns. It can output to a MIDI synthesizer on the PC or Mac, to external hardware or to a MIDI file.
Melody Mine is unusual in that the it has scale, mode and chords on the main song sequence. The piano roll only shows seven notes instead of the usual twelve per octave. These notes are from the scale and mode - so any pattern entered will sound musical.
Chords will adjust the notes accordingly, numbered I, ii, iii, IV, V, vi and vii (roman numerals). The lower case indicates the major/minor feel to the chords, I, IV and V being major, ii, iii, vi and vii being minor.
